Numazawa Lagoon, often called the lake of gods, is a serene volcanic caldera lake in Fukushima ringed by beech forest and ancient camphor trees believed to harbour spirits. The tranquil atmosphere and stillness of the water make it a place for reflection. The surrounding beeches turn gold in autumn.
