Ushidome Pond

A small still pond ringed by dense subalpine forest in Norikura Kogen, whose surface mirrors Mount Norikura almost perfectly on a windless morning; a wooden shelter on the eastern shore faces the reflection directly. A loop of about thirty minutes takes in the pond and the dead standing trees at its edge.
