Kuroba Onsen is a day-use public bathhouse on the shore of the Ohara Dam reservoir in the Kamitaira district of Gokayama. It has separate men's and women's indoor baths, a sauna and an open-air bath, all facing the reservoir and the ridgelines behind it. It is a municipal facility with a simple entry fee and no accommodation. The bath admits visitors with tattoos and says so plainly on its own page, having changed the rule as tattoos became commonplace and foreign visitors more numerous.

Adults (high school age and above) 600 yen; elementary and junior high school students 300 yen. If Tuesday falls on a public holiday the bath closes the following day instead.
