Isshin-ji Temple (Oita)
不動尊一心寺Oita · Kyushu
Isshin-ji is a Fudo-son temple on a hillside south of Oita city, whose grounds are planted with some 800 double-flowered cherry trees — the largest concentration of yaezakura in Kyushu. The trees are terraced up the slope so the canopy is seen from above as well as beneath. The temple charges admission only while they are out.
