A prefectural museum beside Misawa Airport holding around 20 aircraft, including a replica of the Miss Veedol that made the first non-stop trans-Pacific flight from Misawa in 1931. Alongside the hangar are hands-on science exhibits on flight and an outdoor aircraft park. It is closed on Mondays, and on the following day when a Monday falls on a public holiday.
