Hamamatsu Castle
浜松城Shizuoka · Chubu
The castle Tokugawa Ieyasu held for seventeen years before he became shogun, rebuilt in concrete in 1958 on its original wild-stacked stone base, which survives intact and is the best part of the site. The surrounding park is one of the city's main cherry grounds.
