Soroku Kofun

双六古墳

Nagasaki · Kyushu

A vast 91m keyhole-shaped burial mound (zenpokoenfun) from the late 6th century, part of the nationally designated Iki Kofun-gun tumulus cluster -- the largest of roughly 280 kofun scattered across the island.

Why it's hidden

Mainstream travelers often overlook Iki Island due to its remote location and the popularity of larger tourist destinations in Kyushu.
