Yokote Castle & Yokote Park Observation Deck
横手城・横手公園Akita · Tohoku
A 1965 concrete replica keep atop the hill where the original Yokote Castle stood, now a small local history museum with a 4th-floor observation deck over the Yokote Basin. The surrounding park hosts part of the famed Yokote Kamakura snow-hut festival each February.
