天城荘 is a hot spring ryokan built at the foot of Odaru (大滝), the tallest of the Kawazu Seven Falls at roughly 30 m, with its bathing area set directly beside the waterfall's plunge pool. TATTOOS ARE WELCOME HERE, COVERED: the operator's own FAQ states plainly, 'タトゥーに関してはラッシュガードや水着等で隠していただければご入浴いただけます' — bathing is permitted with a tattoo covered by a rash guard or swimwear, a clear stated policy rather than a discretionary one. The waterfall and the bathing terraces sit together in view of each other, which is the point of the place: it is one of the few Izu baths where the bath and the falls are the same view.
