Shosenkyo Ropeway

The Shosenkyo Ropeway climbs from the Sengataki base station to Panorama-dai at about 1,058 m, where clear-day views take in Mount Fuji, the Southern Alps and the Kofu basin. The summit has short trails to Yagyu-dake and lookout points among rock formations and small shrines. It is the easiest way to pair the gorge floor with a mountaintop panorama.
