- Official seasonal gate hours: opening is 6:00 AM from the spring equinox to the day before the autumn equinox, and 6:30 AM the rest of the year.
Note
- Closing is 7:30 PM in June, July and August; 7:00 PM in April, May, September, October and November; and 6:30 PM in December, January, February and March.
- Open every day of the year.
- Entry to the grounds and the main hall is free; the Treasure Hall and the Kanko Historical Museum charge separately.
- Over New Year the shrine stays open around the clock, from 6:30 AM on 31 December until 9:00 PM on 4 January.
- The 124-year restoration of the main hall is complete and worship has returned to the original Momoyama-era honden.
- The temporary 'floating forest' hall that stood during the works has been removed, and while that demolition finishes, formal prayer services are held in the Seishinkan hall rather than at the honden.
