Fire-prevention festival honoring Homusubi-no-Mikoto, held annually on Feb 11 in Niyodogawa Town and also one of the Tosa Sandai Matsuri. Roughly 200 participants carry a sacred palanquin along a 3km mountain route, featuring torimo-hineri (spinning of large ceremonial objects) and sword dances.
