Nightly illumination of the famous Juhyo (snow monster) ice-covered trees near the summit of Mt. Zao, accessed via the Zao Onsen ropeway. Held on weekends and holidays through the winter season; most spectacular in Jan-Feb but the light-up runs late December into early March.
