Illuminated Icicles of Chichibu (Chichibu Three Great Icicles)

Each year from early January to late February, three sites around Chichibu (Misotsuchi, Onouchi, and Ashigakubo) light up dramatic walls of frozen icicles in the evening. The locations are roughly forty minutes apart by car and each charges a small admission fee.
