The Kanda Yamakasa is a festival held annually from mid-September to the first week of October, designated as an intangible folk cultural asset of the prefecture. It is known as one of the three major Yamakasa festivals in Kyushu, featuring the 'Kenkayamakasa' where floats clash vigorously.
