The Kamaishi Festival is a combination of the Ozaki Shrine Festival and the Yama Shrine Festival, which has been held since 1967. During the festival, a boat procession called the 'Hiki-bune Matsuri' takes place, featuring several boats parading in Kamaishi Port.
