Takinoue Park spreads roughly 100,000 sq m of moss phlox into a pink-and-purple carpet on the hills near Monbetsu. The festival includes a 'Phlox Marche' food and craft market on weekends and helicopter sightseeing flights over the blooms. Park admission fee applies.
