The Nunobashi Kanjoukai is a ritual that takes place at the Nunobashi bridge in Ashikuraji, Tateyama, Toyama Prefecture. It originated in the Edo period as a ceremony to save women who were not allowed to ascend Mount Tateyama, allowing them to purify their sins and experience rebirth.
