Hozuki Ichi (Ground Cherry Fair)

Roughly 120 stalls fill the Sensoji precinct selling hozuki (ground cherry) plants and wind chimes on the temple's most auspicious "46,000-day" worship dates. Distinct from Sensoji's other fairs (Hagoita-ichi, Tori no Ichi, Toshi no Ichi), this one is purely a mid-summer plant and wind-chime market.
