One of the three great festivals of Hokuriku, this Sakai City (Mikuni) shrine festival features six enormous, elaborately built dashi floats — some over 6m tall depicting historical/mythological figures — paraded through the old port town over three days: opening lantern procession, main day with mikoshi and floats, and closing ceremony.
