Jindaiji Daruma Ichi (Daruma Doll Fair)

One of Japan's three largest daruma doll markets, held as part of Jindai-ji's Yakuyoke Ganzan Daishi festival, with around 150 stalls selling red daruma talismans for good luck. The temple grounds turn into a sea of red as visitors trade in last year's daruma and buy new ones.
