The Autumn Festival at Miyajidake Shrine, also known as 'Hojyo-kai', is a celebration of gratitude for the blessings of the gods, continuing for about 600 years. The highlight is the grand procession featuring a festival queen in traditional attire, moving from the shrine to the beach over a distance of approximately 2 km.
