カトレ展望台Okinawa
A deck completed in 2013 on Kohama Island overlooking the mangrove forest lining Ishinagata Beach, with sightlines to Iriomote and Yubu islands; a well-known sunset spot. Free parking for 10 cars, about 10 minutes by car from Kohama Port toward Hosozaki fishing port. Typhoon season runs roughly June to October, and a passing storm can cancel ferries, flights and all marine activity across the islands at a day's notice — check the forecast before you rely on this stop.
