Kankakei Gorge
寒霞渓Kagawa · Shikoku
One of Japan's three great gorges, a tumble of volcanic crags and forest on Shodoshima, crossed by a ropeway that lifts you over the rock faces to a summit lookout across the Seto Inland Sea. The gorge is at its most spectacular when the leaves turn in November.
