Shido-ji is temple 86 of the Shikoku eighty-eight pilgrimage, on the coast at Sanuki in Kagawa. Its grounds hold a five-storey pagoda and a garden attributed to the Muromachi period, and the temple is tied to the Ama pearl-diver legend that Noh took up as Ama. Pilgrims reach it between Yakuri-ji, which is 85, and Nagao-ji at 87.
