Tokujin Port (Kudaka Port)

The small ferry harbour on Kudaka's southwestern side and the island's only gateway, next to the village where bicycles can be rented for exploring the sacred sites. Boats run from Azama Port in Nanjo on the Okinawa main island, taking about 15 min by high-speed boat or 20-25 min by ferry. Typhoon season runs roughly June to October, and a passing storm can cancel ferries, flights and all marine activity across the islands at a day's notice — check the forecast before you rely on this stop.
