Aragusuku Beach

Aragusuku Beach is a shallow reef beach on Miyakojima where the coral and tropical fish begin only a few metres out from the sand, which makes it one of the island's easiest snorkelling stops. Entry and parking are free and a hot shower costs about ¥100. Typhoon season runs roughly June to October, and a passing storm can cancel ferries, flights and all marine activity across the islands at a day's notice — check the forecast before you rely on this stop.
